Kristina Sabbia Mainella is a veterinarian, onetime Waldorf kindergarten teacher, massage therapist, avid knitter of neck cowls, and enthusiastic cheer­leader for all activities that involve the great loves of her life: her children, Louis and Vincent. She lives in Camden, Maine, with her longtime partner, Michael, arborist and tree-hugger extraordinaire, whose support and love she cherishes deeply within her heart and could never live without, and their two crazy dogs and a tortoise named Poohbear, who will likely outlive them all.
